Hi Jack, Glad to see your blog, and I must say, really impressed that your post today appeared so very early in the day!! Have fun and enjoy the BU homecoming week-end!
Hmmmmm...what do I want to see/read from Jack? I think I would like to read about your daily adventures; your reflections/thoughts on God, life, school, friends, etc.; and just whatever you feel is important to write about for the day.
Jack: I started blogging two years ago, and it IS hard sometimes to know what to write about (or what people want to read about). Here are a few suggestions that I've learned in the past two years:
1. Post pictures - people like pictures. It can be pictures you took this week, or old pictures, or you can post funny pictures and ask everyone to make a caption for them.
2. Tell stories about things that happened to you recently. They can be funny stories or touching stories, or you could write about some thoughts you had that were interesting. I would especially like to hear your observations about what life is like for you. I think that'd be interesting for the other kids who read your blog because maybe they can relate to how you feel, and it'd be interesting for adults because it's been such a long time since we were kids that we forget what it was like, and then when you tell us what it's like to be a kid, we'll remember and smile because it's been so long since we remembered how that feels.
3. Whenever you're not sure what to write, it's a good idea to look at other blogs to get ideas. There are a lot of fun things you can borrow (such as making lists of your favorite things, or telling us 8 interesting facts about yourself) on those days when you just can't think of anything to say.
4. Have fun, and be you - after all, it's your blog! The good news is that there's not a right or wrong way to blog, so just blog about whatever you feel like writing that day. :-)
I look forward to reading your blog - you can read mine, if you want to, by clicking on my profile link.
I would like to know: What you like (and do not like) about school. The most exciting thing that has ever happened to you. What you think the world will be like when you grow up. Just your feelings about things that you reflect upon...you do such a good job writing. I love reading your blog!!! I check it everyday! (No pressure!)
